We feel compelled to write you regarding our recent experience with your company. Mainly the words professional, integrity and solid product come to mind.
We live in Granville and our lot sits low. We built this home 21 years ago and have two sump wells, which we have maintained throughout the years. We've only had water in our 2,500 square foot, unfinished basement once, and that was enough.
The original pumps were Zoeller. After eight years or so, they wore out and we began the 13-year flurry of sump pump “hell.” We went through many products and many exchanges and replacements of battery back-ups.
We are diligent about checking battery charge/water levels and replacing pumps/switches at the first sign of any system distress. We are "in tune" with what is going on in our basement.
We travel a lot and want confidence that we won't come home to a disaster. We have endured several extended power outages – some lasting 7 to 10 days – where we have had back-up batteries attached to our back-up battery. We even ran back and forth to a truck stop to keep those charged through these outages.
We were weary and lacked confidence in our efforts.
Our ultimate goal was to put the TripleSafe product in the main sump pump well and move the other battery back-up system to the second sump pump well. We finally have accomplished that goal.
We had looked at it for years with another company, then attended the remodel expo this past winter and found it at Ohio Basement Authority’s booth.
Then Corey came out and made a thorough and professional presentation, and we set up an installation date.
The crew members were professional, hard-working, respectful of our home, and put in an entire 8-hour day to install our new system and move the other back-up battery. They totally cleaned up their work area and disposed all debris.
Even though there were several "snafus" that surfaced immediately afterward, this is where your staff really shined!
Our older back-up battery alarm began beeping the very next day in clear, sunny, dry weather. We called your office and, on a Saturday, Brian came out to fix the float switch. The next day, the new TripleSafe began to beep. That Monday, I called Brandie and Jeff, and they handled it with immediate consideration and true empathy and sent Brian back out that very day.
He troubleshot that evening on the new system for three more hours. He then returned two days later and reworked the install. It has been operating as expected ever since. Brian provided the complete confidence and thorough explanations we expected and needed. We felt he knew exactly what he was doing and he did it! Brian is terrific!
In this case, all your staff made us feel like all that was really important was that everything was done properly and attended to as soon as possible. We never felt like we were going to be “hung out.” For these reasons, we feel that you and your company will be there for us in the operation of this product, and that we made the right choice. We always knew that the TripleSafe was the way we wanted to go, but the install and warranty is the most important part of the story.
You should be proud and really value the people who work on your behalf. They represent you well!
