I had an excellent experience with Ohio Basement Authority. My certified field inspector, Hollis Smith, was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough from start to finish. He took the time to explain how the crack on the driveway would be repaired utilizing videos during the process. I felt confident in his expertise and appreciated his attention to detail. Francis Purcell came and viewed the project. He presented me with numerous options for solutions to my basement foundation issues.I decided on an option and we set a date. They actually called a few days prior to see if I wished to move the schedule up which I did.They sent a 2 man crew and I had six adjustable beams installed in less than 5 hours.The crew was courteous, prompt, and cleaned up after themselves.I highly reccommed this company and this is the 2nd time that I've used them.Awesome Experience!

I consulted with many contractors before choosing Ohio Basement Authority. Their online reputation seemed legitimate and my initial consultation with Chelsa immediately credentialed their approach, which seemed very broad in their expertise, thorough, and thoughtful. Their availability to both estimate and install the solution was uncommonly well organized. Chelsa impressed me so much I was a tad worried it might be one of those deals where everything sounds good initially, but the execution could disappoint. Wow – there was no disappointment; the execution was flawless. I don’t know who owns or runs this company, but you can tell their leadership has it together and hires good people. Iran H, Chris M, and Zach K arrived early on the morning of the install and ready to do some serious work. Immediately you could tell – this is what they do and they are both good at it and very experienced. They hustled without rushing, and the finished product was incredible. When examining the space together after they were done, I realized I failed to communicate a few small items that Chelsa and I discussed during the solution design. Iran, Chris and Zach were understanding and gracious with their times; they addressed and resolved all the additional items. Not going to lie – this company is not the cheapest option I looked at. But if you want a thing done once and done correctly – you can seriously trust in them based on my experience. Check out the before and after photos. No more horrible smells, high humidity promoting mold to threaten the structural integrity, and unsealed openings for rodent infiltrations. Thank you all for doing such an excellent job!

Francis Purcell and his crew came out and saved our house, we had water damage, mold and drainage issues. they took care of all of this in about two weeks without barely coming in our house at all. very friendly and professional. i appreciated their time and kindness to our family.

I had a whole bunch of work (encapsulation, new sump pumps, new insulation, the works) done on my crawl space by Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) in June 2026. I had so much water in the crawl space that I am almost surprised that the city didn't tax me for having a pool. All the OBA guys that I interacted with were nice chill dudes. My initial meeting was with Everette and he provided a ton of information. It was a crash course in crawl spaces. The work was done later by William and his crew (Steven, Owen, Levi, and the other guys who I have unfortunately forgotten their names – sorry). The whole crew was all really friendly, kept me updated on what was going on, and answered my questions; as silly as those questions may have been. It's easy to overlook the crawl space, it's not exactly a place where folks spend a lot of time. But water where it's not supposed to be will be the ruin of a house. Call the OBA guys and get ahead of the game.
