Our Inspector, Chelsa, came to our Dayton home the other day to check on some suspected foundation settling. I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, confidence and the way she went about the inspection. She walked the entire house with me, asking questions, making sure she had the layout and all adjacencies correct. After the walk-through, she set up her equipment and showed me specifically where the major problem was located and explained how it would be corrected. When she delivered her full report, it was done very professionally. When I asked her about her company and how she felt about working for them, she replied that she was proud to work for OBA and that she had a great crew working in Dayton. Chelsa also mentioned their parent company Groundworks, and the fact that they are employee owned. (Full disclosure: I'm a big Mike Rowe fan, and heard the Groundworks CEO on his podcast recently). All in all, a very, very good experience.

From the field inspector, Tanner, to the foreman, Joseph, the experience has been great! Everyone was very professional and communicated well. Tanner did an excellent job with his inspection, information presented via short videos and actual samples of the materials and then communicating options and prices. Joseph and his crew showed up on time, very courteous, explained the job, and cleaned up completely. The work done was a crawlspace waterproofing system and encapsulation.

I have had several jobs done by this company. When they say that customer satisfaction is their priority, they mean it. The first job was a waterproofing for my basement, which has worked flawlessly thus far after nearly 4 years. The most recent job is much more complicated. I got a battery backup sump pump and crawl space encapsulation. It was actually fairly poorly done, and there was a flood in my basement a couple of days later, ironically, as well as a lot of water damage in my laundry room amongst a few other things. I reached out to them about it and spoke with Field Supervisor Levi, and GM Joe Manion, who are both spectacular men to interact with in a situation like this. They were both kind and understanding of the difficult time I was having. They not only fixed the issues the last crew didn't complete or didn't do well, but they also made up for it by offering either a discount on my job or the option of additional work done. I chose to get some additional work done as I needed it anyway, and the experience was as fantastic as I am used to from this company. The crew they sent out to do my basement egress window were superb, and the foreman was more than accommodating and polite the entire time. I really wish I could remember the foreman's name. You can tell he really cares about his crew, his customer, and is very skilled at his job. Overall, I am very happy with not only the quality of work out of this company, but also the lengths they will go to make things right for a customer. I will absolutely use them again if I ever need any more work that they provide!

Caleb T was very informative and extremely polite. Spoke using understandable language, and explained everything clearly. I would highly recommend basement authority. They fixed my sump pump and drain problem 4 years ago and have kept up with me to make sure it is all working properly. Always a pleasure with their employees.

This past Friday while I was on my way out the door for work while a monsoon was coming down I went through my basement which had previously had the interior drainage done in April around 90% of my basement floor. And noticed a large amount of water running in from an old abandoned pipe that runs through the block and my sewage pipe that runs through block. I called Ohio basement authority to come and take a look to see what they can do to fix the issue and they had scheduled me with Kyle. He was very courteous and apologetic about what was going on. He presented to me what his plan was to fix the leaking issue and not only did he do that. He put on a clear paint like material on a spot where just a small amount of water was coming through and re routed my wiring that went into my sump pit to make it look more neat and presentable and to keep it from catching on the sump pump float. He told me he would do it as if it was his house and I really appreciate everything that he had done. Thanks again Kyle.

John Carlson was our electrician and he had to run a dedicated line for our new sump pump. He was very professional and didn't give up even though our old house threw some pretty big curveballs his way! Marcus was in charge of the demo, drilling and laying down the new drainage system. He was Uber polite, very knowledgeable and finished in the time allotted.

I was really impressed with the quoting experience with Mark! He was friendly, thorough and offered me a few different solutions without feeling "salesy". Unfortunately, the potential foundation repairs were for a home that I was under contract to buy, but had to backout because the seller refused to lower the purchase price to compensate. However, based on the genuine experience with Mark, I'd recommend this company!

Francis Purcell came and viewed the project. He presented me with numerous options for solutions to my basement foundation issues.I decided on an option and we set a date. They actually called a few days prior to see if I wished to move the schedule up which I did.They sent a 2 man crew and I had six adjustable beams installed in less than 5 hours.The crew was courteous, prompt, and cleaned up after themselves.I highly reccommed this company and this is the 2nd time that I've used them.Awesome Experience!
