Howard came out to do an inspection in my basement for water damage/leaking. He was absolutely amazing! I liked that he had videos detailing exactly what they were going to do. He gave me an opportunity to ask questions before I had the work perform instead of during. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

I had basement work done by OBA in 2015, removal of French drain in a house that was built in 1932. Wall guard, triple safe sump pump, and dehumidifier installed. Best thing I ever did. March 2026 experienced @ 12 hour power outage. Sump pump failed(10+years old). Had a OBA service call that determined sump pump had to be replaced. That size pump no longer available, and a larger pump (AquaStop triple pump)would require enlarging the pit. The battery had been replaced 2 years prior, but had failed with the pump not working. The service was scheduled and I was not charged for the new battery & case, since it was only 2 yrs. old. They also gave me a 3 yr. maintenance extension, at a discounted price. 03/31/26 a 3 man crew arrived on time, covered everything with plastic and completed the job in 3 hours. Did a great job cleaning up and replacing the furniture that had to be moved. Excellent work, Tracyn, Ali and Blu.

Ohio Basement Authority is the top choice for exceptional plumbing services at a competitive price. After maintaining my old sump pump for over 20 years, it finally gave out and it was time for a replacement. I was able to schedule an appointment at a time that worked best for me, and Kyle Lockard came out to install the new sump pump. He did an outstanding job! Kyle not only installed the new pump but also cleaned out a significant amount of grime that had built up over the years. Unlike other companies that simply check if the sump pump is working and call it maintenance, Ohio Basement Authority went above and beyond, as shown in the photos. I'm extremely grateful for the professional and thorough service they provided in replacing my sump pump the right way.

I had leaks all across my basement, so I called Ohio Basement Authority since I saw them working on a neighbors property. Jared Brown, my project manager, inspected the problems and got a plan in motion within days of calling. He helped me with any questions I had (even after completion) and kept the project goals reasonable. Once construction started (busy season, month delay) they were done within a few days. Job was done quickly and professionally with the mess very well contained. I definitely recommend them if you’re having foundation issues like I was!

Chase came to our house to do an inspection to figure out where the water in our basement was coming from. He was very knowledgeable, kind, professional and thorough. He answered all of our questions and did a great job explaining everything to us. Chase was very easy to talk to and is passionate about his job and you can tell he really wants to help his customers. He is very organized and used his expertise to help us with figure out options for a solution. I would highly recommend Chase for a home inspection. We enjoyed the time we spent with him.

Our finished basement became flooded with ground water. It was bad. We were walking in PUDDLES of water throughout the basement. A family member who is a contractor for home improvements recommended Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) Sara who works for them came to evaluate our basement issues. She fully explained the issue and the process to eliminate it. She discovered this was not a new issue for us as we found mold behind the drywall. The working crew of Tracen, Daniel, Ciadne, and Dryck all were extremely professional and answered all our questions. As we do not have an outside door from our basement, they had to hand carry all the equipment, supplies and old concrete up the basement stairs and out of the house. They did everything possible to mitigate the construction mess from laying drop cloths to putting up plastic curtains. The process for us was quick and efficient. They cleaned up all the construction mess and more. We are extremely pleased with the end product and looking forward to reclaiming our basement as living and storage space. Thank you OBA who not only fixed the issue but really addressed a potential health issue for our family! 10/10. The warranty on the work is good for the lifetime of the house.
