Ohio Basement Authority did not provide the cheapest estimate, but they were the most professional in their presentation. Dan made a thorough inspection of our house and then spent much time explaining the problem and how they would fix it. We were very impressed with Dan , and the company.

I called to have the foundation of my home repaired. My floor boards were moving, there was a crack in my center wall. My anxiety was through the roof and I was dreading spending several thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. Mr. Hollis Smith showed up promptly, professionally and friendly. I explained to him my concerns and showed him the issues. After a few hours he basically tells me that the guy I hired to put jack stands in the basement installed them wrong. He also cranked them too high, pushing up on the floors and causing the crack in the wall and the floorboard separation. He then tells me the jack stands were not even needed. What I thought was a massive hole and faulty foundation was perfectly fine. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He could have really taken me to the bank for work I did not need done and he didn’t. That’s integrity! He is looking at a few other jobs that we would like to have now. Jobs there are not urgent. We look forward to working with his professionalism, honesty and expertise!

Ohio Basement Authority did phenomenal work. Our inspector, David D was incredibly professional and obviously passionate about what he does. From start to finish he meticulously explained what was going on and how to fix it, all while easing concerns and answering any questions that we had. Our installation crew, Iran H, Chris H, and Zach K were awesome. They were professional, courteous, and weren’t invasive or disruptive in the slightest. I especially want to point out that these guys came out and worked in about a foot of snow and below freezing temperatures on both of the days that they were out. You’re not going to get that from the competition. If you want a sump pump system with proper drainage installed, and you want it installed right, OBA is the way to go.

Not only were they prompt and professional, they understood our wants and needs and designed a plan to make it happen. The installation team (Iran H., Chris M., Damarion A.) were equally as wonderful! Even after the work was done, Preston D. followed up to make sure everything was still satisfactory. Each of the workmen worked hard and was helpful and cheerful. They each did a great job and answered all questions. Ryan and Bryan did a bang-up job lifting and repairing the steps. Curtis, Jordan and Chris went the extra mile in solidifying the foundation and dealing with the unexpected in the basement, Jabaree, Garrett, and Danny did the waterproofing work, installed the dehumidifier and finished with the final concrete work. Hollis, my project manager, was available whenever I needed an answer, My Thanks to each of them for their workmanship.
