I consulted with many contractors before choosing Ohio Basement Authority. Their online reputation seemed legitimate and my initial consultation with Chelsa immediately credentialed their approach, which seemed very broad in their expertise, thorough, and thoughtful. Their availability to both estimate and install the solution was uncommonly well organized. Chelsa impressed me so much I was a tad worried it might be one of those deals where everything sounds good initially, but the execution could disappoint. Wow – there was no disappointment; the execution was flawless. I donāt know who owns or runs this company, but you can tell their leadership has it together and hires good people. Iran H, Chris M, and Zach K arrived early on the morning of the install and ready to do some serious work. Immediately you could tell – this is what they do and they are both good at it and very experienced. They hustled without rushing, and the finished product was incredible. When examining the space together after they were done, I realized I failed to communicate a few small items that Chelsa and I discussed during the solution design. Iran, Chris and Zach were understanding and gracious with their times; they addressed and resolved all the additional items. Not going to lie – this company is not the cheapest option I looked at. But if you want a thing done once and done correctly – you can seriously trust in them based on my experience. Check out the before and after photos. No more horrible smells, high humidity promoting mold to threaten the structural integrity, and unsealed openings for rodent infiltrations. Thank you all for doing such an excellent job!

Jordan came out to check our basement due to nonstop water coming in from the drains. He cannot figure it out why so much water coming in. My husband lives in this house for over 30 years and nothing like this happens. This is the second time water episode issue in our basement. Jordan went outside and check until he pointed out the construction next to our house. He is a life saver because been dealing this water for 3 days. Only happened when this construction for water lines begins. And we didnāt know until this new company Basement Doctor came out.

I had Jacob come out for an inspection after I purchased this property. He was friendly easy-going and just the type of sales person that I needed for this only negative side to all this is I wish that the 10% was a little pushed out further versus the same day, I think thatās kind of the downside of everything. However, his approach to fixing the situation measuring the walls figuring out everything was gonna flow through was great. I had zero issues directly with him. He was awesome great sales understanding and wasnt pushing things down my throat and somebody like me coming from sales. I donāt like the pushy sales man cause I was that.he didnāt really have an issue building great Rapport with me at all. And he was very truthful. He explained things very simply and easily although I did my resrarch to find out what my issues were so i had an idea of how things would go today, and was able to have a better idea/ plan for myself; he explained this is what we need to get done this is how our company does it. This is how weāre gonna do it. Also, I think what helped is he understood the scope of the work being a former foreman himself. I appreciate him coming out and this guy needs a raise or some more commission great dude great attitude, and great integrity, even better not a pushy sales man. Thank you jacob and thank you for being a man of integerity and honesty i appreciate it very, very much.

He answered all of our questions and did a great job explaining everything to us. Chase was very easy to talk to and is passionate about his job and you can tell he really wants to help his customers. We had Ohio Basement Authority out to do a complete encapsulation on our 2500 square foot crawl space. From the start of the process our sales representative Joel was extremely helpful. He worked up several different options for us and never tried to over sell he just genuinely tried to help us through the process. Once the work began Richard and his crew, John, Johan and Jhorfry were extremely professional. They always communicated when they would be arriving, updated us on the progress and worked long hours to hit their intended goals for the day. They left each day with their work area clean and organized and made sure at the end of the project that everything was how it was originally. We highly recommend Richard and his crew for any service or projects their experience made this project go very smoothly. Thanks guys !

I called to have the foundation of my home repaired. My floor boards were moving, there was a crack in my center wall. My anxiety was through the roof and I was dreading spending several thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. Mr. Hollis Smith showed up promptly, professionally and friendly. I explained to him my concerns and showed him the issues. After a few hours he basically tells me that the guy I hired to put jack stands in the basement installed them wrong. He also cranked them too high, pushing up on the floors and causing the crack in the wall and the floorboard separation. He then tells me the jack stands were not even needed. What I thought was a massive hole and faulty foundation was perfectly fine. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He could have really taken me to the bank for work I did not need done and he didnāt. Thatās integrity! He is looking at a few other jobs that we would like to have now. Jobs there are not urgent. We look forward to working with his professionalism, honesty and expertise!

Vanessa from the Ohio Basement Authority assessed my basement experiencing water intrusion. She and her colleague spent 2 hours with me discussing the issue and how they would address it. I felt satisfied with their knowledge, expertise, and their sales professionalism. Ultimately we decided to patch the crack with another company, because the Basement Authorityās solution was quite pricey. We plan to call Vanessa and Ohio Basement Authority if the problem persists post patch job.

Great work deserves high praise, and I have nothing but high praise for Ohio Basement Authority (āOBAā) and, in particular, the individuals that performed my work. I worked with the folks at their Cincinnati office on push pier installation and poly injection to stabilize and correct a foundation settlement issue on my house. Although I interviewed three different companies specializing in this type of work, I was most impressed with OBA for many reasons and ultimately decided to go with OBA, a decision which I am glad that I made. I initially met with Mark Overmyer for the initial evaluation and proposed solution to correct my foundation issue. Right from the start I was really impressed with Markās straightforward and comprehensive explanation of the services I would needā¦.Mark is an engineer and even showed me the exact point where my home was starting to settle using his transit and other tools, which helped explain the number and location of push piers needed. His precision and thoroughness really impressed me. However, there were other things that made me decide to use OBA. For example, I found OBAās contract to be fair and balanced when compared to my review of competitor contracts. Also, OBA does things by the book and got the necessary permitsā¦.that unfortunately may not necessarily always the case with other companies. I also spoke to other OBA customers and they had nothing but great things to say about OBA and how pleased they are with the work they performed. I definitely liked OBAās product warranty and the fact that, unlike some companies, OBA does not charge an excess per foot additional charge should a pier exceed a specific depth, which could really increase the project cost should it occur. The fact that OBA does what it takes to install piers at whatever depth so required to be solid and stable and at no additional charge gave me much peace of mind. The OBA folks on the front end for sales and contracting were excellent to work with, but the actual individuals on the installation crew were even more so and absolutely outstanding in every respect. I had a crew comprised of Sean (the foreman), Elisha and Simon doing the push piers. For the poly injection part of the job I had a crew comprised of Seth (the foreman) and his colleague (sorry but I canāt recall his name). It is rare to see such a hard-working and conscientious group of workers. The moment they arrived, they impressed me with how professional and customer-oriented they were, and it was that way throughout the job. All of the great things I had heard from others about OBA when I was doing my research definitely played out on my job with these individuals. Unfortunately, the Google rating system is only five stars for the highest rating, but these fellows deserve at least eight or ten stars on a five star rating system. I found OBA to be a fine company to do business with, and the individuals I dealt with from there on every stage of the project were exceptional and did a fine job of representing OBA as a company.

From estimate to completion, Tyler and Curtis were extremely informative and professional. Tyler was very thorough in explaining the process and assisting with the financing to get us started and Curtis and his team worked diligently to get the project completed, keeping us informed as to their progress at the end of each day. While this wasnāt something we expected or had planned for, we are grateful for Ohio Basement Authorityās work in addressing the problem by getting us scheduled quickly, stabilizing our house and providing us with a with a sense of relief going forward. We wouldnāt hesitate in referring Ohio Basement Authority to anyone with similar issues that need addressed.

Joe and his crew came out today to fix a previously botched job by this company. I'm not sure how so many things went wrong with the water proofing service of our basement, but I am confident these guys fixed the problems. Very nice, professional and explained everything that was done wrong and how he fixed it.
