Ohio Basement Authority Partners with Habitat for Humanity for a Third Consecutive Year
This year, the team at Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) partnered with Habitat for Humanity. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, employees assisted in home builds for members of the local communities.
OBA’s parent company, Groundworks, donated $100,000 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. Part of the Goodworks by Groundworks program, this partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year.
Cincinnati
This April, OBA employees spent the day with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati. Nine dedicated team members spent the day at the build site installing a fence for the future homeowner and painting the siding of the new home. Their efforts were featured on WXIX (FOX) Cincinnati.
“[The] totally amazing and awesome volunteer group put up [the] East side of wooden fence. I know I speak for the homeowner when we say how grateful we are for your help in building this home for a local family.” – Wally, HFH of Greater Cincinnati Site Supervisor
