Ohio Basement Authority Sponsors Regional Down Syndrome Buddy Walk

At Ohio Basement Authority, we firmly believe in giving back to the community and celebrating our friends and neighbors. We proudly sponsored the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio’s 2024 Columbus Buddy Walk.

The inspirational event was held on Sept. 29 at Fortress Obetz in Columbus. The rain didn’t scare us away—in fact, we welcomed it! It didn’t deter countless other supporters from uniting for a worthy cause, either.

Over $500,000 was raised to benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio.

Providing Possibilities For All

Founded in 1984, the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) is dedicated to empowering individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. The organization strives to foster community integration and create lifelong opportunities for those with Down syndrome.

DSACO pursues these goals by offering accessible, distinctive programs that promote independence and celebrate the accomplishments of individuals with Down syndrome. Through its efforts, the association aims to provide crucial support to families while encouraging the personal growth and societal inclusion of people living with Down syndrome.
