I had a whole bunch of work (encapsulation, new sump pumps, new insulation, the works) done on my crawl space by Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) in June 2026. I had so much water in the crawl space that I am almost surprised that the city didn't tax me for having a pool. All the OBA guys that I interacted with were nice chill dudes. My initial meeting was with Everette and he provided a ton of information. It was a crash course in crawl spaces. The work was done later by William and his crew (Steven, Owen, Levi, and the other guys who I have unfortunately forgotten their names – sorry). The whole crew was all really friendly, kept me updated on what was going on, and answered my questions; as silly as those questions may have been. It's easy to overlook the crawl space, it's not exactly a place where folks spend a lot of time. But water where it's not supposed to be will be the ruin of a house. Call the OBA guys and get ahead of the game.

Kevin was our inspector and was patient with our many questions and sincere in what our personal needs were. Ben was our foreman, he was also extremely patient with questions, and there were many. He made sure we knew exactly what was going on at each stage. All of the Crew that worked with us were courteous, hard working, and friendly! We had Ty with Ben one day! Jeremiah came for electrician consult, it was a pleasure to meet him. Next Crew with Ben was Trenton and K.C….these young men worked hard all day to complete this job and clean up was perfect. I had basement work done by OBA in 2015, removal of French drain in a house that was built in 1932. Wall guard, triple safe sump pump, and dehumidifier installed. Best thing I ever did. March 2026 experienced @ 12 hour power outage. Sump pump failed(10+years old). Had a OBA service call that determined sump pump had to be replaced. That size pump no longer available, and a larger pump (AquaStop triple pump)would require enlarging the pit. The battery had been replaced 2 years prior, but had failed with the pump not working. The service was scheduled and I was not charged for the new battery & case, since it was only 2 yrs. old. They also gave me a 3 yr. maintenance extension, at a discounted price. 03/31/26 a 3 man crew arrived on time, covered everything with plastic and completed the job in 3 hours. Did a great job cleaning up and replacing the furniture that had to be moved. Excellent work, Tracyn, Ali and Blu.

After 30 years in our home, our foundation was in serious need of repair. Ohio Basement Authorities was selected to do the repair work needed to stabilize the home. They were very professional and quickly demonstrated that they had the expertise and equipment needed to effectively and efficiently get the job done. Very impressive was that a team of just 3 dug out a massive amount of dirt along the entire side of our house which then allowed them to install necessary materials to stabilize the foundation. Additionally, these 3 completed all needed work in less than a day and a half! Big shout out to Elijah, Robert and Isaiah W. from the Ohio Basement Authorities Branch in Cincinnati Ohio. I highly recommend them to anyone needing foundation repair.

The guy who came and did my inspection 2 years ago told me this was not covered under the life time warranty they provide. I thought that was ridiculous. But I had to live with it. Irritated with them now, Troy came out this year and said "yeah I'm going to fix that for you. It's covered under the warranty." FANTASTIC!!!!! My wife and I sat down with Matt and were very happy with his assessment to address our concerns. We set a date and time to begin work to install additional Jacpipes and beams. Iran H. and Chris M. called the night before to authorize an earlier start time. They arrived on time. They began working in the crawlspace and cleaned up the work area. Iran and Chris showed us pics and stated they will return to make the adjustments to the jacposts. Very courteous and professional. We recommend the company.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Ohio Basement Authority! From the very beginning, they made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Scheduling my appointment was easy as can be, and I really appreciated receiving a prompt appointment confirmation that kept me in the loop. On the day of the appointment, Chase and Chelsa were fantastic. They arrived right on time, which I truly value working from home and in meetings most of the day. They were thorough and professional, taking the time to carefully check both the inside and outside of my home to identify any potential issues. What I appreciated most was their thorough and honest consultation and recommendations for how to best handle some of the issues they found. This past Friday while I was on my way out the door for work while a monsoon was coming down I went through my basement which had previously had the interior drainage done in April around 90% of my basement floor. And noticed a large amount of water running in from an old abandoned pipe that runs through the block and my sewage pipe that runs through block. I called Ohio basement authority to come and take a look to see what they can do to fix the issue and they had scheduled me with Kyle. He was very courteous and apologetic about what was going on. He presented to me what his plan was to fix the leaking issue and not only did he do that. He put on a clear paint like material on a spot where just a small amount of water was coming through and re routed my wiring that went into my sump pit to make it look more neat and presentable and to keep it from catching on the sump pump float. He told me he would do it as if it was his house and I really appreciate everything that he had done. Thanks again Kyle.

Jordan came out to check our basement due to nonstop water coming in from the drains. He cannot figure it out why so much water coming in. My husband lives in this house for over 30 years and nothing like this happens. This is the second time water episode issue in our basement. Jordan went outside and check until he pointed out the construction next to our house. He is a life saver because been dealing this water for 3 days. Only happened when this construction for water lines begins. And we didn’t know until this new company Basement Doctor came out.

William and his crew were great! Very professional and courteous. Issues were as follows: Evan the salesman mentioned that we might need to remove the laundry sink at our first walkthrough. But around one week before they were due to arrive for the job, I called to ask about it and he had forgotten about it. He did help me find a really good plumber at a discount to correct this. The next issue was that the board to repair the base of the house was not going to fit, and they did not have the right equipment to do that job. The job got postponed by at least 2 weeks due to other scheduled jobs and staff vacation. In addition, William had to do a job during the morning of our scheduled work which put them back 1/2 day. I really appreciate that this company is family owned, but it feels like they are stretched a bit thin with staffing and equipment.

When my basement flooded, OBA was there within an hour. Chris Masselli, the tech, jumped right in to figure out what was going on. Without my even asking, they replaced my sump pumps (and added one more) and dehumidifier which had been ruined, under my warranty. As we tried to figure out what was causing the intrusion, Chris came out at least half a dozen times with just a phone call, including being at my house until after 11 one night. Tracen and his crew, Ciande and Ali, rearranged their work schedule to make sure needed work was done before the rain came. I have an old house, so they had to do a lot of problem-solving to find a solution for us. They were professional, friendly, and did excellent work. Kaleb called to help me with another related problem, found us an answer, and then followed up to make sure everything worked out. They stayed in touch with me every single day for two weeks until everything was good. They even provided an extended maintenance contract to ensure that any possible problems in the future would be addressed. If I had to use one word to describe this company, it would be integrity. Every single interaction was professional. They went above and beyond in every way and made sure I had the outcome I needed. Finding quality companies to do work in our home has been a struggle, but this is what high quality looks like. If every company did business like this, it would be so much better. Highly, highly recommend.

We would like to share our experience with Zeke Fowler who came to our home today (2/16/23) to provide a free estimate to repair our front porch steps that are leaning by 1-1/4 inch. Although we haven't committed to the service and are still considering all our options, Zeke was was extremely professional, very thorough, trustworthy and a wealth of knowledge. He actually went above and beyond by getting to the root cause of the leaning and pointed out other areas that could be of concern. He was able to point out that our down spouts are not draining the rain water out to the street, thus causing water to pool and saturate the front yard where a large size dip has formed over a couple of decades. So, he not only provided the reasonable cost to perform the repairs but he also pointed out other areas of our property, specifically the sidewalks where there is some unevenness that has the potential for trip hazards. We are so thankful that Zeke was the person that Ohio Basement Authority sent to our home today, because we can't imagine anyone else with more expert knowledge than him. If you are a homeowner in need of their services, we highly recommend Zeke to be the person you could request. Thanks again.
