My wife and I had a few contractors out to our property to assess our sinking garage slab issue. We ultimately decided to use Ohio Basement Authority as the consultant Nick came out, took measurements and provided details that others could not. We moved forward with having 5 piers installed under the slab. The team that came out to complete the work was Sean, Nick, and Elijah. What a team! They were awesome! They arrived on time, walked us through the process and had it all completed in the same day. Our floors is now even and the gaps that existed are now gone in the walls. Thank you to your team for taking care of this project for us. They also made it super easy with Payment Options for us as well which is perfect around the holiday season.

Ohio Basement Authority gave us a very reasonable estimate for leveling out several problem spots in our concrete driveway and walkway to our front door. Then they contacted us when a spot opened on their job schedule a few months sooner than expected. Their crew, Nick and Earl, were on time, very personable, kept us fully informed on their progress, and did a great job. I recently had the pleasure of working with Kyle R. from Ohio Basement Authority on a challenging basement project, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. While the job took longer than initially expected due to unforeseen complications, Kyle's commitment and professionalism never wavered. He consistently followed through on every promise he made, keeping me informed and at ease throughout the process. Kyle was joined by Slade R. and Bryan K., who were incredible teammates. These two were hardworking, reliable, and just as pleasant to have around. They worked tirelessly, never once slowing down or losing focus. The team as a whole was exceptional, and their efforts were truly appreciated. What stood out the most, though, was Kyle's attitude. Even when problems arose, which inevitably happens with a job of this magnitude, he maintained the most positive and professional demeanor I’ve ever encountered with anyone working in my home. Vanessa from the Ohio Basement Authority assessed my basement experiencing water intrusion. She and her colleague spent 2 hours with me discussing the issue and how they would address it. I felt satisfied with their knowledge, expertise, and their sales professionalism. Ultimately we decided to patch the crack with another company, because the Basement Authority’s solution was quite pricey. We plan to call Vanessa and Ohio Basement Authority if the problem persists post patch job.

Chase came out to inspect my foundation issue this week and I was super impressed. He took his time and was very thorough. Little did he know I had obtained estimates from two other companies. Sorry Chase! The inspection he did was light years ahead of the other two and the diagnosis was the same as was the fix. But, the estimate came in significantly lower and did not involve ripping off my entire deck. Chase passed the vibe check and was super personable and explained everything so a layman like me could understand. I think he deserves a bonus and a raise. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a foundation repair.

This past Friday while I was on my way out the door for work while a monsoon was coming down I went through my basement which had previously had the interior drainage done in April around 90% of my basement floor. And noticed a large amount of water running in from an old abandoned pipe that runs through the block and my sewage pipe that runs through block. I called Ohio basement authority to come and take a look to see what they can do to fix the issue and they had scheduled me with Kyle. He was very courteous and apologetic about what was going on. He presented to me what his plan was to fix the leaking issue and not only did he do that. He put on a clear paint like material on a spot where just a small amount of water was coming through and re routed my wiring that went into my sump pit to make it look more neat and presentable and to keep it from catching on the sump pump float. He told me he would do it as if it was his house and I really appreciate everything that he had done. Thanks again Kyle.

Troy Wilson came out to my house to look at something in my basement that I have had issues with since the basement system was put in. The guy who came and did my inspection 2 years ago told me this was not covered under the life time warranty they provide. I thought that was ridiculous. But I had to live with it. Irritated with them now, Troy came out this year and said "yeah I'm going to fix that for you. It's covered under the warranty." FANTASTIC!!!!! I am thankful for Troy coming out and being professional and no bullshit crap. No excuses just fixed it. Super happy with him. Thanks again.

We would like to share our experience with Zeke Fowler who came to our home today (2/16/23) to provide a free estimate to repair our front porch steps that are leaning by 1-1/4 inch. Although we haven't committed to the service and are still considering all our options, Zeke was was extremely professional, very thorough, trustworthy and a wealth of knowledge. He actually went above and beyond by getting to the root cause of the leaning and pointed out other areas that could be of concern. He was able to point out that our down spouts are not draining the rain water out to the street, thus causing water to pool and saturate the front yard where a large size dip has formed over a couple of decades. So, he not only provided the reasonable cost to perform the repairs but he also pointed out other areas of our property, specifically the sidewalks where there is some unevenness that has the potential for trip hazards. We are so thankful that Zeke was the person that Ohio Basement Authority sent to our home today, because we can't imagine anyone else with more expert knowledge than him. If you are a homeowner in need of their services, we highly recommend Zeke to be the person you could request. Thanks again.

After maintaining my old sump pump for over 20 years, it finally gave out and it was time for a replacement. I was able to schedule an appointment at a time that worked best for me, and Kyle Lockard came out to install the new sump pump. He did an outstanding job! Kyle not only installed the new pump but also cleaned out a significant amount of grime that had built up over the years. Unlike other companies that simply check if the sump pump is working and call it maintenance, Ohio Basement Authority went above and beyond, as shown in the photos. I'm extremely grateful for the professional and thorough service they provided in replacing my sump pump the right way.

Unfortunately, the potential foundation repairs were for a home that I was under contract to buy, but had to backout because the seller refused to lower the purchase price to compensate. Today, Chase Clemens and Justin Bankcroft thoroughly inspected my house for structural concerns. (They were almost at my house for three hours.) I cannot begin to thank them enough for their knowledge, integrity and ethics. Another company gave me an estimate of almost $29,000 and Chase said that none of that work needed to be done. Chase and Justin identified the problem (my roof) and assured me it was not a problem with the house structure itself. Not only did they save me an enormous amount of money, but they restored my faith in people. There are ethical professionals in this world and they are certainly two of them. Both of these men were so professional and knowledgeable, I am beyond grateful. I feel very blessed.

Last week I asked Ohio Basement Authority to come out to investigate why my floor was so cold and why cold air was coming in from the bottom of the fireplace. Dylan came out as promised and did an extremely thorough investigation. I was surprised and impressed with how interested and determined he was to figure out the issue. He looked outside, inside, and spent lots of time in the crawlspace. He found places in the crawlspace that were of particular concern and explained what would be the best solutions. He showed pictures and took his time explaining his reasoning. Then he was very willing to explain it again to my son and a friend so they could help me decide. No pressure, professional demeanor. I can tell he loves what he is doing and takes pride in doing it honestly and with excellence. Dylan has made me feel confident having the work done by Ohio Basement Authority.

Tanner did an excellent job with his inspection, information presented via short videos and actual samples of the materials and then communicating options and prices.
