Very friendly when I called in. Scheduled fee estimate although I wasn’t sure they did what I needed. Even Eakle showed up at scheduled time. Immediately realized I didn’t currently need their services. I showed him what my problem was, and he actually with the use of one little tool fixed my problem perfectly on all five window wells. He was such a friendly guy great customer service. I would highly highly recommend using them if you would ever need waterproofing cement, leveling, or any other other other services I would definitely give them a call. I believe he is out of the Kent office. I’m not sure he did have a 216 area code exchange, he did a fabulous job if I ever need any waterproofing or here of anybody that needs it I would definitely tell him to call these people

Our finished basement became flooded with ground water. It was bad. We were walking in PUDDLES of water throughout the basement. A family member who is a contractor for home improvements recommended Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) Sara who works for them came to evaluate our basement issues. She fully explained the issue and the process to eliminate it. She discovered this was not a new issue for us as we found mold behind the drywall. The working crew of Tracen, Daniel, Ciadne, and Dryck all were extremely professional and answered all our questions. As we do not have an outside door from our basement, they had to hand carry all the equipment, supplies and old concrete up the basement stairs and out of the house. They did everything possible to mitigate the construction mess from laying drop cloths to putting up plastic curtains. The process for us was quick and efficient. They cleaned up all the construction mess and more. We are extremely pleased with the end product and looking forward to reclaiming our basement as living and storage space. Thank you OBA who not only fixed the issue but really addressed a potential health issue for our family! 10/10. The warranty on the work is good for the lifetime of the house.

Jacob Nesbitt in my home was a positive experience, and a refreshing experience after other estimators. He was thorough, honest, and earned my trust with his demeaner. He reviewed my options, quoted financing, and I choose to use his company because of his respectful communication style. I felt confident after getting my free quote that negotiating the complex situation in my basement would not only be possible with him, but that we would succeed in getting the results we need. Honestly, its difficult to open your home to a stranger who you need help from on a large project, and it was nice to feel good about it for a change. Ohio Basement Authority is a good mix of national corporation but still has a small business feel.

I recently hired this company to install two basement egress windows in one of my rental properties, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the first call, they were super quick to respond—got back to me right away, answered all my questions, and scheduled everything efficiently without any hassle. The team that came out was incredibly professional: polite, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with egress installations. They did a fantastic job on both windows—clean cuts, solid work around the foundation, great attention to detail, and they left the site spotless when they were done. James Sandlin was courteous and friendly from the second he stepped into our home. He was very thoroughly with the review of our foundation and the needs we were looking to meet. Sometimes in these situations it's all about the experience and he truly made this experience all the more better for us. I had a whole bunch of work (encapsulation, new sump pumps, new insulation, the works) done on my crawl space by Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) in June 2026. I had so much water in the crawl space that I am almost surprised that the city didn't tax me for having a pool. All the OBA guys that I interacted with were nice chill dudes. My initial meeting was with Everette and he provided a ton of information. It was a crash course in crawl spaces. The work was done later by William and his crew (Steven, Owen, Levi, and the other guys who I have unfortunately forgotten their names – sorry). The whole crew was all really friendly, kept me updated on what was going on, and answered my questions; as silly as those questions may have been. It's easy to overlook the crawl space, it's not exactly a place where folks spend a lot of time. But water where it's not supposed to be will be the ruin of a house. Call the OBA guys and get ahead of the game.

Jordan came out to check our basement due to nonstop water coming in from the drains. He cannot figure it out why so much water coming in. My husband lives in this house for over 30 years and nothing like this happens. This is the second time water episode issue in our basement. Jordan went outside and check until he pointed out the construction next to our house. He is a life saver because been dealing this water for 3 days. Only happened when this construction for water lines begins. And we didn’t know until this new company Basement Doctor came out.

I had a great experience with Ohio Basement Authority. Eric came determined my problem and explained how they would fix it in terms I could understand. Joe and his crew were fantastic! They came in and got the job done. Above and beyond! They even linked in back downspout in close vacinity to the discharge line. Looks great. Any questions I had were answered. They let me know when they were coming and finished in 2 days! I was impressed with this crew and company. Love this system so far, very quiet. Test is coming with the upcoming season and it is life time warranty! Cannot wait for phase 2 finishing to have dry and complete basement!

I have had several jobs done by this company. When they say that customer satisfaction is their priority, they mean it. The first job was a waterproofing for my basement, which has worked flawlessly thus far after nearly 4 years. The most recent job is much more complicated. I got a battery backup sump pump and crawl space encapsulation. It was actually fairly poorly done, and there was a flood in my basement a couple of days later, ironically, as well as a lot of water damage in my laundry room amongst a few other things. I reached out to them about it and spoke with Field Supervisor Levi, and GM Joe Manion, who are both spectacular men to interact with in a situation like this. They were both kind and understanding of the difficult time I was having. They not only fixed the issues the last crew didn't complete or didn't do well, but they also made up for it by offering either a discount on my job or the option of additional work done. I chose to get some additional work done as I needed it anyway, and the experience was as fantastic as I am used to from this company. The crew they sent out to do my basement egress window were superb, and the foreman was more than accommodating and polite the entire time. I really wish I could remember the foreman's name. You can tell he really cares about his crew, his customer, and is very skilled at his job. Overall, I am very happy with not only the quality of work out of this company, but also the lengths they will go to make things right for a customer. I will absolutely use them again if I ever need any more work that they provide!

This past Friday while I was on my way out the door for work while a monsoon was coming down I went through my basement which had previously had the interior drainage done in April around 90% of my basement floor. And noticed a large amount of water running in from an old abandoned pipe that runs through the block and my sewage pipe that runs through block. I called Ohio basement authority to come and take a look to see what they can do to fix the issue and they had scheduled me with Kyle. He was very courteous and apologetic about what was going on. He presented to me what his plan was to fix the leaking issue and not only did he do that. He put on a clear paint like material on a spot where just a small amount of water was coming through and re routed my wiring that went into my sump pit to make it look more neat and presentable and to keep it from catching on the sump pump float. He told me he would do it as if it was his house and I really appreciate everything that he had done. Thanks again Kyle.
