I consulted with many contractors before choosing Ohio Basement Authority. Their online reputation seemed legitimate and my initial consultation with Chelsa immediately credentialed their approach, which seemed very broad in their expertise, thorough, and thoughtful. Their availability to both estimate and install the solution was uncommonly well organized. Chelsa impressed me so much I was a tad worried it might be one of those deals where everything sounds good initially, but the execution could disappoint. Wow – there was no disappointment; the execution was flawless. I don’t know who owns or runs this company, but you can tell their leadership has it together and hires good people. Iran H, Chris M, and Zach K arrived early on the morning of the install and ready to do some serious work. Immediately you could tell – this is what they do and they are both good at it and very experienced. They hustled without rushing, and the finished product was incredible. When examining the space together after they were done, I realized I failed to communicate a few small items that Chelsa and I discussed during the solution design. Iran, Chris and Zach were understanding and gracious with their times; they addressed and resolved all the additional items. Not going to lie – this company is not the cheapest option I looked at. But if you want a thing done once and done correctly – you can seriously trust in them based on my experience. Check out the before and after photos. No more horrible smells, high humidity promoting mold to threaten the structural integrity, and unsealed openings for rodent infiltrations. Thank you all for doing such an excellent job!

Richard, Donte, Javaun did a great job. Richard, the Forman, made sure to see if I had any questions about the product and job from start to finish. You can't really see from the photos but they built up the dirt after they were done to help keep it from washing away. I would definitely recommend.

We had Ohio Basement Authority out to do a complete encapsulation on our 2500 square foot crawl space. From the start of the process our sales representative Joel was extremely helpful. He worked up several different options for us and never tried to over sell he just genuinely tried to help us through the process. Once the work began Richard and his crew, John, Johan and Jhorfry were extremely professional. They always communicated when they would be arriving, updated us on the progress and worked long hours to hit their intended goals for the day. They left each day with their work area clean and organized and made sure at the end of the project that everything was how it was originally. We highly recommend Richard and his crew for any service or projects their experience made this project go very smoothly. Thanks guys !

From estimate to completion, Tyler and Curtis were extremely informative and professional. Tyler was very thorough in explaining the process and assisting with the financing to get us started and Curtis and his team worked diligently to get the project completed, keeping us informed as to their progress at the end of each day. While this wasn’t something we expected or had planned for, we are grateful for Ohio Basement Authority’s work in addressing the problem by getting us scheduled quickly, stabilizing our house and providing us with a with a sense of relief going forward. We wouldn’t hesitate in referring Ohio Basement Authority to anyone with similar issues that need addressed.

We just had our crawl space encapsulated and this company did an outstanding job. Our first interaction was with Mark Vouis who had the unfortunate task of crawling around our hideous crawlspace to come up with the initial estimate. He was thorough, friendly, explained everything well, and was able to work out all the financing before his visit was over. Our installation was done in the same week by two equally thorough, friendly, professionals named Ivan and Davis. Not only did they give our crawl space a desperately needed makeover but they also noticed a duct pipe had come detached and just went ahead and fixed that for us as well. Ivan made sure he walked us through everything they did when they were finished, showing us before and after pictures he took along the way of the entire crawl space. They were also very friendly with our pug who, despite weighing all of 15lbs, has delusions of grandeur and tried to tell them off the entire time they were working. I would very highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on their basement!

Dan came out to inspect my home for some moisture along the basement walls. Thankfully, the solutions were identified and should solve the problems. Dan explained a lot to me about how lifting and stabilizing my concrete porch would help to stop water making its way to the foundation. He was also very helpful in explaining many things about home building I never knew. I felt a bit more empowered and at ease learning about how my basement drainage is set up. I have yet to have the work done on the front sidewalk and porch but look forward to the fix.
