Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Ohio Basement Authority! From the very beginning, they made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Scheduling my appointment was easy as can be, and I really appreciated receiving a prompt appointment confirmation that kept me in the loop. On the day of the appointment, Chase and Chelsa were fantastic. They arrived right on time, which I truly value working from home and in meetings most of the day. They were thorough and professional, taking the time to carefully check both the inside and outside of my home to identify any potential issues. We just bought a new house, and even though we've only been here for the winter, I can already tell that Basement Authority is a five-star operation. 1. They include a lifetime warranty on their work. Not just YOUR lifetime – the lifetime OF THE PROPERTY. They did the work on our basement for the previous owners, and when we bought the house, we were able to have the warranty transferred to us. If we ever leave, the next owners will be able to get the same warranty. That's how you know they do good work! 2. A week ago, I had my first yearly check-up with Matt. Ohio Basement Authority called ME to remind me that they were running a "free check-up" deal, and we scheduled it right away! They're very conscientious that way. 3. Matt is clearly enthusiastic about his work with Basement Authority, and I can tell that the same could probably be said for just about everyone working there. He was eager to tell me all about their revolutionary advances in basement filtration / reinforcement technology – some of which were only invented in the past decade. He wasn't afraid to take his time and walk me through every single system at work in my basement and the logic behind them. 4. Their work is transformative! For our first 2 months living here, the basement looked so normal that we simply thought the basement work (done by Basement Authority for the previous owners) was preventative – maybe fixing some cracks or installing drainage pipes. My mind was blown when Matt showed me pictures of our basement from 9 months ago! It had been a total mess – mud seeping in through the corners of the foundation, nauseating puddles of black mold working their way up the walls, leaks on both sides of the basement. It's a miracle they were able to fix it up into our current "normal" basement! 5. When I asked Matt for his opinion on some additional basement work we were thinking of doing (reinforcing an additional wall), he told me how Basement Authority would go about it, and he added that they had a payment plan option for 2 years same as cash. Even the financial aspect makes sense! There you have it, 5 reasons for 5 stars. Even just at the start of my experience with Basement Authority, I know they will not disappoint me!

This was a great experience from Doug our salesman to Joe Straight our foreman and Brandon our electrician everything was top notch and amazing. The level of communication and coordination was excellent. Then the crew of Tavieon and Cristo were super workers and very friendly and helpful. James ******* is fantastic. He quickly identified several issues in our home using advanced equipment and visual inspection. He explained the process of the crawlspace encapsulation and showed us photos so that we understood exactly what is beneath our home. He has worked very well with the contractor from ****, Wayne, who is also excellent. The two of them have agreed on several things, and will work together to try to save our subfloor we were previously told had to be ripped out. We have very scary issues with our house (mold, sagging beams from a dishwasher leak and the foundation shifting due to this). James has drawn a diagram of the house as far as he can for now. Wayne from **** is doing the same. Our HVAC must be ripped out before James can evaluate the rest of our house, but he was able to show us where we have crawlspace and where it is slab. We highly recommend this very knowledgeable and professional technician. We trust him and are grateful he and the other contractor are able to work so well together to try to help us during one of the worst nightmares of our lives. Their calm mannerisms are helping us not panic, and we know they could have padded the bill and ripped out the sub floor. Not wanting to do this shows us even more so that we can trust James to make the best decision to help us. He got down in our crawlspace that is very short in freezing weather and took photos of everything. He is dedicated and he really cares.
