My wife and I had a few contractors out to our property to assess our sinking garage slab issue. We ultimately decided to use Ohio Basement Authority as the consultant Nick came out, took measurements and provided details that others could not. We moved forward with having 5 piers installed under the slab. The team that came out to complete the work was Sean, Nick, and Elijah. What a team! They were awesome! They arrived on time, walked us through the process and had it all completed in the same day. Our floors is now even and the gaps that existed are now gone in the walls. Thank you to your team for taking care of this project for us. They also made it super easy with Payment Options for us as well which is perfect around the holiday season.

Jacob Nesbitt in my home was a positive experience, and a refreshing experience after other estimators. He was thorough, honest, and earned my trust with his demeaner. He reviewed my options, quoted financing, and I choose to use his company because of his respectful communication style. I felt confident after getting my free quote that negotiating the complex situation in my basement would not only be possible with him, but that we would succeed in getting the results we need. Honestly, its difficult to open your home to a stranger who you need help from on a large project, and it was nice to feel good about it for a change. Ohio Basement Authority is a good mix of national corporation but still has a small business feel.

My home is unusualy long, large and awkwardly positioned on a steep slope. I worried for years it was too big of a task to repair thoroughly and would be far too expensive. I had quotes from various experts and never felt confident with any of their solutions. But yesterday I met Dan with Ohio Basement Authority and I have to say: MY OPINION CHANGED QUICKLY. I will never be able to thank @Dan Lauterbur enough for our home evaluation. He worked with precision and great attention to detail, addressing every nagging question, and concern I threw at him with a plethora of knowledge and expertise. His passion for construction and foundation repair was evident. Literally every minute was a fountain of knowledge; he did not rush and spent nearly 4 hours with me to complete our home evaluation, sketch and entire contract. Bringing over 25 years of experience as a general contractor, I can rest easy knowing Dan left no stone unturned during the process. Very excited to continue working with Dan as our Project Manager over the next three months and see our dreams come to fruition!!! I truly do not believe there is another foundation company out there that will have the man power for this monster of a project (32 push peirs, driveway deck, floors and more); all-the-while still making the process stress-free, smooth and affordable. Jordan came out to check our basement due to nonstop water coming in from the drains. He cannot figure it out why so much water coming in. My husband lives in this house for over 30 years and nothing like this happens. This is the second time water episode issue in our basement. Jordan went outside and check until he pointed out the construction next to our house. He is a life saver because been dealing this water for 3 days. Only happened when this construction for water lines begins. And we didn’t know until this new company Basement Doctor came out.

Excellent service and great pricing for a downspout drain repair. The inspector, Mark, did a great job listening to our concerns and then recommending a fix. He walked us through the whole process. On the day of installation, Larry and Kruize did a fantastic job fixing the issue while keeping my landscaping intact as much as possible. I really appreciate how clean they left the install. We’re currently having basement work done by OBA. During the process, their electrician, Brandon, identified a serious issue with our main panel. We’d had problems in the past but hadn’t realized the extent of the danger. OBA was great about working with us to include a panel replacement in the project scope. Brandon completed the job the same day and was a pleasure to talk with. Their plumber, Cory, also stayed to help and had our water system back online that same day. *I’ll provide further updates once the structural work is complete, but so far, so good!

They scheduled an appointment within just a couple of days, which was impressive. Joe Rhoads came out for the inspection, and he was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to clearly explain everything in detail. He made sure we understood the issues, the solutions, and never rushed the process. You can tell he truly knows his job and cares about helping the customer. Honestly, Joe was a big reason we felt confident moving forward with Ohio Basement Authority.
