My experience with Ohio Basement Authority was excellent from the initial phone call to schedule an inspection to the completion of the work. Jacob, the inspector, did an excellent job of explaining all parts of the process of installing supports on two basement walls. I felt he really made an effort to keep the cost as low as possible. Also excellent was the crew that did the work. The foreman, Tyson, along with Shaun and Josh, worked hard and did an excellent job of cleaning up when finished. Tyson kept me informed throughout the day of the progress they were making. I would recommend Ohio Basement Authority to anyone needing basement/crawlspace work. In the past several months, my husband passed away followed soon after by my dad and then my mom. This work was at my parent's home and this was the first time I have handled such a project on my own. I appreciate how all of you made it.

We just had our crawl space encapsulated and this company did an outstanding job. Our first interaction was with Mark Vouis who had the unfortunate task of crawling around our hideous crawlspace to come up with the initial estimate. He was thorough, friendly, explained everything well, and was able to work out all the financing before his visit was over. Our installation was done in the same week by two equally thorough, friendly, professionals named Ivan and Davis. Not only did they give our crawl space a desperately needed makeover but they also noticed a duct pipe had come detached and just went ahead and fixed that for us as well. Ivan made sure he walked us through everything they did when they were finished, showing us before and after pictures he took along the way of the entire crawl space. They were also very friendly with our pug who, despite weighing all of 15lbs, has delusions of grandeur and tried to tell them off the entire time they were working. I would very highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on their basement!

These guys were awesome five plus stars I own an old home, and the crawlspace was very nasty when I got it, but I called Ohio Basement authority, and they came out, did a free inspection, and gave me finance options. I did a crawlspace encapsulation, and they are very affordable. They came out, and it only took them about 2 days to finish thanks guys 🙂

Foundation problems are a very stressful situation to deal with, but from the beginning Ohio Basement Authority made the process effortless and brought us peace of mind not only in the choices we made for our solution but also in the financial aspect of it as well. James Sandlin was courteous and friendly from the second he stepped into our home. He was very thoroughly with the review of our foundation and the needs we were looking to meet. Sometimes in these situations it's all about the experience and he truly made this experience all the more better for us. Each of the workmen worked hard and was helpful and cheerful. They each did a great job and answered all questions. Ryan and Bryan did a bang-up job lifting and repairing the steps. Curtis, Jordan and Chris went the extra mile in solidifying the foundation and dealing with the unexpected in the basement, Jabaree, Garrett, and Danny did the waterproofing work, installed the dehumidifier and finished with the final concrete work. Hollis, my project manager, was available whenever I needed an answer, My Thanks to each of them for their workmanship.

I have had several jobs done by this company. When they say that customer satisfaction is their priority, they mean it. The first job was a waterproofing for my basement, which has worked flawlessly thus far after nearly 4 years. The most recent job is much more complicated. I got a battery backup sump pump and crawl space encapsulation. It was actually fairly poorly done, and there was a flood in my basement a couple of days later, ironically, as well as a lot of water damage in my laundry room amongst a few other things. I reached out to them about it and spoke with Field Supervisor Levi, and GM Joe Manion, who are both spectacular men to interact with in a situation like this. They were both kind and understanding of the difficult time I was having. They not only fixed the issues the last crew didn't complete or didn't do well, but they also made up for it by offering either a discount on my job or the option of additional work done. I chose to get some additional work done as I needed it anyway, and the experience was as fantastic as I am used to from this company. The crew they sent out to do my basement egress window were superb, and the foreman was more than accommodating and polite the entire time. I really wish I could remember the foreman's name. You can tell he really cares about his crew, his customer, and is very skilled at his job. Overall, I am very happy with not only the quality of work out of this company, but also the lengths they will go to make things right for a customer. I will absolutely use them again if I ever need any more work that they provide!
