I had Jacob come out for an inspection after I purchased this property. He was friendly easy-going and just the type of sales person that I needed for this only negative side to all this is I wish that the 10% was a little pushed out further versus the same day, I think that’s kind of the downside of everything. However, his approach to fixing the situation measuring the walls figuring out everything was gonna flow through was great. I had zero issues directly with him. He was awesome great sales understanding and wasnt pushing things down my throat and somebody like me coming from sales. I don’t like the pushy sales man cause I was that.he didn’t really have an issue building great Rapport with me at all. And he was very truthful. He explained things very simply and easily although I did my resrarch to find out what my issues were so i had an idea of how things would go today, and was able to have a better idea/ plan for myself; he explained this is what we need to get done this is how our company does it. This is how we’re gonna do it. Also, I think what helped is he understood the scope of the work being a former foreman himself. I appreciate him coming out and this guy needs a raise or some more commission great dude great attitude, and great integrity, even better not a pushy sales man. Thank you jacob and thank you for being a man of integerity and honesty i appreciate it very, very much.

I have had several jobs done by this company. When they say that customer satisfaction is their priority, they mean it. The first job was a waterproofing for my basement, which has worked flawlessly thus far after nearly 4 years. The most recent job is much more complicated. I got a battery backup sump pump and crawl space encapsulation. It was actually fairly poorly done, and there was a flood in my basement a couple of days later, ironically, as well as a lot of water damage in my laundry room amongst a few other things. I reached out to them about it and spoke with Field Supervisor Levi, and GM Joe Manion, who are both spectacular men to interact with in a situation like this. They were both kind and understanding of the difficult time I was having. They not only fixed the issues the last crew didn't complete or didn't do well, but they also made up for it by offering either a discount on my job or the option of additional work done. I chose to get some additional work done as I needed it anyway, and the experience was as fantastic as I am used to from this company. The crew they sent out to do my basement egress window were superb, and the foreman was more than accommodating and polite the entire time. I really wish I could remember the foreman's name. You can tell he really cares about his crew, his customer, and is very skilled at his job. Overall, I am very happy with not only the quality of work out of this company, but also the lengths they will go to make things right for a customer. I will absolutely use them again if I ever need any more work that they provide!

Dan Lauterbur came to my house to advise me regarding some basement cracking and seepage that had been previously treated by another company. His assessment was thorough and detailed and noted several concerns that I had not previously been aware of. He was very helpful in advising me as how to best proceed and what to ask and look for when the company that did the original warrantied work returns to readdress the problems. If the original company fails to adequately address the concerns or if new problems arise in the future, I will most certainly be back in touch with the Ohio Basement Authority.

Daniel,Jon,and Kyle showed up to redo trench drain. This is the fourth crew to do work for us. The five stars are for the professionalism and way they handled the job, not for Basauth. Poor management and lack of follow-up. This crew rectified a couple small issues other than the shitty drain work. Again if you used these guys as examples of good work ethic and doing the best job that they can with limited resources you might not have customers like me seriously questioning your business ethics and practices. Had a great experience with Ohio Basement Authority recently when they came out to look at our crawl space for encapsulation. Dakota Hruby was the one who did the inspection, and he was fantastic—super friendly, professional, and really took the time to walk me through everything. What stood out the most was how thorough he was. He didn’t just do a quick once-over and leave; he explained things in detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I actually understood what was going on down there and why certain fixes were recommended. I never felt rushed or pressured, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the inspection and how much time they spent with me. It felt like they genuinely cared about doing things right. Definitely recommend if you’re looking into crawl space work.

Very friendly when I called in. Scheduled fee estimate although I wasn’t sure they did what I needed. Even Eakle showed up at scheduled time. Immediately realized I didn’t currently need their services. I showed him what my problem was, and he actually with the use of one little tool fixed my problem perfectly on all five window wells. He was such a friendly guy great customer service. I would highly highly recommend using them if you would ever need waterproofing cement, leveling, or any other other other services I would definitely give them a call. I believe he is out of the Kent office. I’m not sure he did have a 216 area code exchange, he did a fabulous job if I ever need any waterproofing or here of anybody that needs it I would definitely tell him to call these people
