I had leaks all across my basement, so I called Ohio Basement Authority since I saw them working on a neighbors property. Jared Brown, my project manager, inspected the problems and got a plan in motion within days of calling. He helped me with any questions I had (even after completion) and kept the project goals reasonable. Once construction started (busy season, month delay) they were done within a few days. Job was done quickly and professionally with the mess very well contained. I definitely recommend them if you’re having foundation issues like I was!

This review is relative to the initial inspection and estimating session (mine was regarding my slab foundation). Scot was a pleasure to work with — excellent communication leading up to the appointment, super knowledgeable and informative, and also had a great sense of humor. I was presented with several options, received honest guidance regarding what might be more or less urgent, and I never felt like I was being sold unnecessary services. The initial session takes a bit of time (again, very thorough), but this is communicated upfront. I’m in the process of getting a few estimates before I decide the path forward, but I am happy that I included this company on my short list.

He reviewed my options, quoted financing, and I choose to use his company because of his respectful communication style. I felt confident after getting my free quote that negotiating the complex situation in my basement would not only be possible with him, but that we would succeed in getting the results we need. Honestly, its difficult to open your home to a stranger who you need help from on a large project, and it was nice to feel good about it for a change. I was really impressed with the quoting experience with Mark! He was friendly, thorough and offered me a few different solutions without feeling "salesy". Unfortunately, the potential foundation repairs were for a home that I was under contract to buy, but had to backout because the seller refused to lower the purchase price to compensate. However, based on the genuine experience with Mark, I'd recommend this company!
